The first pilot branch at Dubai Mall focuses on serving the core Retail customers, and also has a dedicated Priority Banking Lounge to attract and serve elite clientele. The main features include a tablet-based interactive browsing lounge, quick enquiry wall, customer majlis area and private advice rooms. The open and dynamic branch environment is brought to life by centrally controlled digital video walls that act as billboards to attract new customers and enhance existing customer engagement.
Space utilisation between ‘customer area’ and ‘back office’ has improved by 20%; EIB have given the branch back to the customer, providing a richer variety of possible face-to-face points of engagement. Since launching 2 months ago, the branch has seen a steady increase in customer enquiries and acquisitions, transactions and overall satisfaction.
I-AM have worked with EIB to develop multiple branch formats and these will be launched throughout 2016 as EIB look to become the market-leader for Customer Experience throughout the UAE and the Middle East.
