Formerly, training of Garanti’s 19,000 employees was managed through a manual structure, resulting in high e-mail and phone traffic and massive waste of resources.
To address this problem, I-AM set about creating a user-centred, well-organized training portal, which brings all the scattered communication and information together and enables the employees to take action without wasting their time.
The project was started by conducting meetings with Garanti employees to get a deeper knowledge about the operation of the system, its content structure and the needs and requirements of its users. This knowledge helped to determine the information architecture of the new system. High-resolution wireframes were designed to establish the visual and interaction structure.
The use flow of the portal was tested using different personas, helping to detect possible usability problems early on, for different user groups.
Finally, a matching visual concept which delivers great user experience and invokes pleasure of use was designed.
