Ocean Bank approached I-AM in 2011 to revitalise their brand
and create a family of branch formats that would allow them to challenge Vietnam’s larger, more established retail banks.
We created a dynamic youthful brand personality that has now been applied to all aspects of the Ocean Group, from finance to supermarkets to real estate.
We also conceived a new retail branch format strategy that included a family of four branch designs matched to specific customer and location types. The flagship branches include all banking services combined with cafes, business lounges and even a cocktail bar within the new Ocean members club zones.
Since we started working with Ocean in 2011 they have not only become the fastest growing bank in Vietnam but have also won the “Best Retail Bank in Vietnam in 2013” awarded by Global Banking & Finance Review Magazine.
